The Living End Announce Australian Tour Support Acts

Veteran Australian rock trio The Living End have announced which homegrown acts will be joining them on their first national headline shows in two years, when they hit up east coast venues this October and November, presented by your truly, Music Feeds.

Joining The Living End in Canberra and Sydney will be Sydney crew Palms, who have been busy most of this year touring off the back of their debut album Step Brothers. Meanwhile, support in Wollongong will be provided by local surf rockers Hockey Dad, who dropped their debut EP Dreamin’ earlier this year.

Having already been announced as special guests on the legendary Jimmy Barnes’ upcoming 30th anniversary tour, these will be The Living End’s first headline shows since their Retrospective Tour in 2012, where they performed each of their six albums in full over seven nights in five cities.

The Living End have also confirmed that they will begin recording their seventh album. Currently slated for release some time next year, the album will follow-up 2011’s ARIA Award winning The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating.

In order to make shows accessible to all fans, all ticket prices for the upcoming tour have been set at $50 including booking fee (transaction fees may apply). Tickets are on sale now, see all tour dates and details below.
