The Script Announce 2015 All-Ages Australian Tour

Dublin-via-London trio The Script have announced an all-ages Australian tour, set to take place in arenas across the country in April and May 2015. The pop-rock outfit, who released their debut album in 2008, are now touring behind their fourth studio album, No Sound Without Silence, which was released last month.

The Script, consisting of Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power, have opened for acts as large as U2 and Paul McCartney in the past. That said, they have no trouble headlining their own arena tours, thanks to their large and loyal following.

The band’s 2015 Australian tour will involve shows in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Throughout their 2015 Australian tour, The Script will be joined by UK producer Labrinth, a seasoned festival performer who landed a huge collaboration with Tinie Tempah on the song Earthquake.

The Script were forced to cancel a promotional performance in Melbourne earlier this week, after the stage they were set to perform on collapsed. Taking to their Facebook page, the band said, “Melbourne were [sic] so sorry the show got cancelled. It wasn’t our choice. The stage collapsed and people where [sic] on it and next to it… We will be back to make it up.”

Superheroes, the first single to be taken from The Script’s new album No Sound Without Silence, can be streamed below. The group’s 2015 all-ages Australian tour begins in Perth on Friday, 24th April, and finishes up in Brisbane on Saturday, 2nd May. Full tour and ticket details are also available, below.
