Disturbed Announce 2016 Australian Arena Tour

American heavy metal band Disturbed have announced that they’re headed to Australia and New Zealand in November to play some of their biggest venues down-under to date.

The band will play dates in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Aukland in support of last year’s Immortalized.

Immortalized is their sixth album and only their second to debut at number one in Australia. They are also experiencing unprecedented commercial success for a metal band with their current single The Sound Of Silence which has crept into the top 30 here in Australia.

Disturbed were meant to be in the country to play the ill-fated Soundwave 2016 in February, however, when that was cancelled they were forced to reschedule. Thankfully, they have delivered new dates so we don’t have to wonder any longer what could’ve been.

Melbourne metal-rockers Twelve Foot Ninja will be joining them as support on the entire tour. The band are fresh from playing festivals in the US and Europe and are prepping to release their yet-to-be-announced second album.

This is Disturbed’s first visit to Australia since 2011 so tickets are likely to be snapped up pretty quickly. Check out all the details below.
