Sam Daniels shared her story behind the new single and how her anxiety disorder influenced her new single. “I have struggled with anxiety as a lifelong battle. There are days where I feel like the world is crashing in and I have felt so unsure of myself, especially as a young adult navigating things. I wanted to make this song because I noticed that I struggle with it, but being in your twenties is rough.”
She also explained her song production.”When I made the production of this song, I sat down in Logic Pro just starting off with one loop idea and then so much was added to the song, we were even able to get a real trumpet player (Michael Bafundo) to contribute to this beautiful song.”
Sam Daniels concluded her statements by reflecting on anxiety and disorders people face in their lives. “When you have an anxiety disorder, it is difficult to push yourself to be able to go out and do things, but I want this video to be a reminder to people that it is ok to push yourself out there, and you need to have fun overall.”
