Fridayz 2025 Line-Up: Mariah Carey, Pitbull, Wiz Khalifa + More

Fridayz Live has announced its return for four stadium shows in October 2025. The completely international bill, largely focused on pop and rnb nostalgia from the 2000s and 2010s, will be headlined by Mariah Carey and Pitbull – who are both returning to Australia after over a decade away. The full line-up, as well as pre-sale and ticketing information, can be found below.

Carey was last seen in Australia on tour in 2014, as part of The Elusive Chanteuse Show world tour. She had planned to return in 2018, but the tour was delayed twice before being cancelled outright. Pitbull, meanwhile, was one of several artists to have their Australian tour plans for 2020 upended by the COVID-19 pandemic. The rapper known as “Mr. Worldwide” had been plotting a co-headlining tour with Kesha, following the success of their collaborative hit single ‘Timber’. As such, Pitbull has not toured Australia since 2012 on the Planet Pit world tour with Taio Cruz.

Rounding out the line-up will be multi-platinum rapper Wiz Khalifa, crunk pioneer Lil Jon, Y2K star Eve, UK pop-rapper Tinie Tempah and ‘No Air’ singer Jordin Sparks. Fans of these artists are encouraged to purchase tickets for Fridayz Live by the organisers, who have noted these will be the only dates the artists perform while in Australia. “No sideshows and no second chances,” they warn. Organisers have also noted that both Carey and Pitbull will each perform an hour-long set.

Fridayz was one of several festivals to take a year off in 2024, announcing last September that it would not be going ahead. “We couldn’t pull together a line-up worthy enough for our amazing fans, so we’re hitting the pause button – for now,” they wrote in a statement at the time. “But don’t stress, we won’t be gone for long. Fridayz will be back, bigger and better in 2025.” 2024 also saw the loss of Fridayz’ longtime host and MC, the late Fatman Scoop, who passed away at the age of 56.

The festival last ran in 2023, where it was controversially headlined by Jason Derulo – who, at the time, was facing allegations of sexual misconduct. These allegations lead to media personality Abbie Chatfield stepping down from her hosting duties that year, and cutting ties with the festival. Flo Rida, Naughty By Nature, Kelly Rowland, 112, JoJo and Travie McCoy rounded out the line-up.
