More than just music, Mills’ performances also incorporate elements of contemporary art, pop culture, design and science fiction.

As well as being renowned as a founder of the Detroit techno scene in the 80’s, Mills also founded his own record label, Axis Records, in 1992, and has shown multiple performances and exhibitions in artistic institutions like the CCCB of Barcelona, the South Bank Center, the Barbican Center, the Cinémathèque Française and more.

According to a press statement, his ‘Tomorrow Comes The Harvest’ live show is all about “exploring the unknown, transcending by the way of intersecting sounds and rhythm through an array of improvisational movements”.
