Kiwi Indie Faves No Cigar Level Up With Biggest Australian Tour To Date

New Zealand indie favourites No Cigar are doubling down on Australia.

Fresh off another hugely successful visit in 2025, the Auckland five-piece have announced their biggest Australian tour to date, returning this September and October for a 13-date run that stretches from the Sunshine Coast to Fremantle.

NO CIGAR – Live at the Powerstation (Full Set)

The tour marks the band’s fourth Australian visit and arrives as No Cigar continue building serious momentum internationally following the release of their acclaimed third album Under The Surface.

Over the past few years, the group have quietly become one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most exciting indie rock exports, blending surf-rock warmth, alternative grit and soaring melodies into a sound that’s earned them a fiercely loyal following across Australia, the UK, Europe and North America.

Their rise has been just as impressive on the road.

After selling out headline shows across the UK, performing at festivals including The Great Escape and Paris’ Supersonic Block Party, and racking up more than 36 million global streams, No Cigar are now preparing for an enormous 33-date world tour running from September through November.

Australia plays a major role in that journey.

Alongside headline dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, the band will once again hit a string of regional venues after discovering just how passionate those crowds could be during previous visits.

Inspired by the reception they received in places like Armidale, this year’s itinerary expands further, with stops including Moonee Beach, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Sunshine Coast.

The tour also comes with the promise of new music on the horizon, with No Cigar teasing fans will get an early glimpse at the band’s next creative chapter.
