South African-New Zealander comedian Urzila Carlson has announced a new tour for 2024. Titled ‘Just Jokes’, it’ll kick off on Saturday, 23rd March at the Odeon Theatre in Hobart, followed by dates in Werribee and a full run of shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Carlson will then head to most major cities and regional centres throughout June and July, finally finishing up on Friday, 2nd August at the Llewellyn Hall in Canberra. See the full list of dates below – tickets will go on sale next week, with a pre-sale happening from Friday.

“Just Jokes is as it says on the label! Just jokes! Come for a show and leave with a sore face from laughing! Switch off and relax”, Carlson said of the show.
Carlson has been a popular figure on the international comedy scene for many years, appearing frequently on local shows such as Channel 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? and Celebrity Gogglebox Australia.
Later this year she’ll host the Just For Laughs All-Star Gala at the Sydney Opera House, which features comedians Dara O Briain, Dilruk Jayasinha, Nina Conti, Tommy Little, Joanne McNally and Russell Kane
