Dom Dolla Expands 2024 Australian Tour

Dom Dolla has added new dates to his forthcoming Australian tour, giving east-coast capital cities a second chance to see him perform after pre-sales for the original dates sold out yesterday (February 19). In addition to the new shows, the capacity for Dolla’s show in Perth – set to take place in the city’s Wellington Square park – has been expanded to meet demand.

Tickets for all shows will go on general sale from 12pm local time today, Tuesday February 20th. Ticketing information and a full run of Dolla’s updated itinerary can be found below. The tour is set to be the Melbourne DJ’s biggest national run to date, with between 10 to 25,000 people expected at each outdoor show.

Dom Dolla – ‘Saving Up’

2024 has already proven to be eventful in its first few weeks for Dolla. In late January, he scored two spots in the top five of the 2023 triple j Hottest 100, going back-to-back with his MK collaboration ‘Rhyme Dust’ at number four and ‘Saving Up’ at number 3. In doing so, he became the ninth artist in the countdown’s history to appear twice in the top five, and the first to do so back-to-back since Tame Impala in 2015.

Dolla was in attendance at the 2024 Grammy Awards, where he was nominated for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical for his remix of Gorillaz‘s 2022 collaboration with Tame Impala and former Pharcyde rapper Bootie Brown, ‘New Gold’. It was Dolla’s first Grammy nomination, as well as the first for an Australian producer in the category.

He is also nominated for a Juno Award in Canada for Dance Recording Of The Year for ‘Eat Your Man’, due to its featured vocalist Nelly Furtado being Canadian. The ceremony will be held next month on Sunday, March 24th.
