Taiwan-born, Brisbane-raised classical violinist and viral sensation Ray Chen is taking his show on the road. After captivating millions of people around the world with his viral reels and YouTube videos, the fiddle-shredding online personality has announced a trio of Australian live dates this September.
Joined by Julio Elizalde on piano, the virtuosic violinist will perform recitals at Arts Centre Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Monday, 8th September, Sydney Opera House’s Concert Hall on Friday, 12th September and the QPAC Concert Hall in Brisbane on Sunday, 14th September.

East Coast fans will get to see Ray light up the stage with his performance of pieces by Ludwig van Beethoven, Camille Saint-Saëns, Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Bazzini, Antonín Dvořák, Chick Corea and more.
The tour announcement follows the release of Chen’s 2024 album Player 1, which was produced in partnership with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and sonically explores the links between classical music and gaming.
